Kevin McDonald and his wife, Helen,
have been the proprietors of Damenti’s Restaurant in
Mountaintop for 30+ years. Kevin, who is the chef at the restaurant,
was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and began his career in Denver,
Colorado, where he attended the University of Denver. After
working in Denver and Steamboat Springs, Kevin and his wife
returned to Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Kevin and Helen have studied with
and been awarded certificates by Marcella Hazan, Bologna,
Italy; Ken Hom, Hong Kong; and L’Ecole de Cordon Bleu
in Denver, Colorado.
